Driving Families Forward — Help Us Purchase an Outreach Vehicle
Second Chance Families Project is a nonprofit serving families experiencing hardship across Northern Virginia. We help families navigate some of life's most difficult moments — court hearings, recovery programs, employment, and reunification — by walking alongside them every step of the way.
But we can't walk them there.

Transportation is the #1 barrier keeping families from the services, appointments, and opportunities they need to rebuild their lives. Missed court dates lead to lost custody. Missed treatment appointments lead to relapse. Missed job interviews lead to continued poverty. These aren't small setbacks — they're the difference between a family staying together or being torn apart.
That's why we're raising $25,700 for a dedicated outreach vehicle.
This van will serve our families across the region for:

💊 Recovery and treatment programs
👨‍👩‍👧 Parent-child visitation and family reunification
📚 Parenting education programs

Every dollar goes directly toward:
A reliable used passenger van or SUV ($14,000)
Insurance, registration & title ($3,200)
Fuel & maintenance for a full year ($4,000)
Vehicle branding & emergency transportation fund ($4,500)
